There is no story bigger at this World Cup than Lionel Messi. At 39 years old, this is expected to be his final World Cup after 20 years representing Argentina internationally.
He is already considered by many to be the greatest of all time, and his performances at this tournament have only strengthened that case.
If Argentina wins it all, Messi would surpass Maradona by winning two World Cups for his country, and Argentina would become the first back-to-back champion since Brazil in 1958 and 1962.
