MPG's 4th Annual Garba took place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 7 to 11 PM in East Rutherford, NJ. Past clients, friends, and new faces came together for an evening of Garba dancing, good food, and community, while also supporting Nepal flood relief.

What Is the MPG Annual Garba?
The MPG Annual Garba is The Meena Patel Group's yearly Navratri celebration for our clients, friends, and neighbors across Northern New Jersey. Garba is a traditional Gujarati folk dance performed in circles, and for us it has become a night to say thank you to the community that makes our work meaningful.
There is no sales pitch and no agenda. We open the doors, turn up the music, and invite everyone to dance, eat, and catch up. For a team that spends most of the year helping people buy and sell homes, getting to simply celebrate with them is the best part.
What Was the Vibe?
The vibe at Garba is hard to describe unless you have been in the circle. The music builds, the circles grow, and everyone from first-time dancers to lifelong pros ends up moving together. Some people come in their best traditional outfits, some come straight from work, and by the second hour nobody can tell the difference.
That is the magic of Garba. It pulls in the shy ones, the competitive ones, the kids, and the grandparents, and it turns a room full of familiar faces and new ones into one big celebration.
What About the Food?
Garba is never complete without food, and this night was no exception. Between dances, the food table became the unofficial meeting spot, where old friends caught up and new friends were made over a plate.
Who Came Together?
Our guests were mostly past clients, along with some new faces from across New Jersey. Seeing homeowners we have worked with for years dancing alongside people we were meeting for the first time is exactly why we host this event. Real estate is about relationships, and this is where those relationships get to be simply fun.
Giving Back: Nepal Flood Relief
Alongside the celebration, we collected donations for Nepal flood relief through a separate donation listing. To everyone who gave, thank you. Celebrating together is wonderful, and using the night to help others makes it matter even more.
